Why did we create Hedgehog?
With a gap in the market for an affordable specialised hedge accounting product, we decided it was time to develop a cloud-based platform that empowered businesses, irrespective of their size. Hedgehog would help us simplify a complex, niche area of accounting and ensure optimum results for our clients, supporting them to flourish in turbulent markets.
We wanted to create mobile-friendly software where users could access report content directly within the application, eliminating the need for external tools.
How was Hedgehog developed?
The platform was developed using our signature HEDGEHOG Method as the basis for the reporting outcomes. This method addresses eight key areas to optimise hedge accounting programs and ensures compliance with accounting standards. A monthly report dashboard with dynamic charts was implemented in the software framework, providing an interactive way for clients to view data trends and uncover valuable insights.
We tested Hedgehog’s MVP with our existing clients and refined it based on their feedback. Since the software’s release, our subscribers have received highly positive reviews.

The platform allows you to create accounts for members in your organisation to help streamline collaboration. Our automated system lets you send an email with a report attached to all team members whenever it becomes available. Users also receive notifications when a new report is created.
